I took Scarf III to work today and got good reviews.

I’m making good progress on Hat I but am having problems with the tension on the transition from one dpn to the next. I’m advancing one or two stitches at each turn to avoid a column of loose stitches, but instead I’m getting a faint diagonal pattern, a triple helix moving up to the crown.

I finished the gearshift mitten; it looks like a hat for a Ken doll, or maybe for Midge. My spouse thinks it’s too small, so I’ll probably do another one and send them off together
